DISTANCE LEARNING FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES AND KNOWLEDGE

Abstract

Оne of the requirements of the international community regarding the training of specialists is quality education. The Republic of Kazakhstan is actively implementing new information technologies in the educational process to promote quality of learning materials. One of the most promising educational technologies is the technology of distance learning. Distance learning gives students the opportunity to study at a distance from the training centre, thereby expanding the boundaries of education, even going beyond a single state. The article shows the main trends in and methods of implementing distance learning in higher educational institutions in the Republic of Kazakhstan, their advantages and problems, and the conditions that are necessary to implement distance learning technologies.
