Economic Welfare Of The European Union Member States

Abstract

The article focuses on a comparison of the European Union member states in terms of their economic welfare. To this end, a selected array of indicators was used to group the member states through cluster analysis. The primary research objective is to determine whether these countries enhance their economic welfare positions over time or there is a discernible trend of deterioration in this respect.
