dc.description.abstract | Under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), infrastructure construction has
profoundly impacted economic cooperation between China and Bulgaria. Particularly, the
development of transportation infrastructure has played a crucial role in promoting trade
cooperation between China and Europe. With the advancement of China's collaboration with
Central and Eastern European countries and the implementation of the BRI, economic cooperation
between China and Bulgaria has gradually strengthened. This article discusses the current status
of economic cooperation between China and Bulgaria under the BRI, highlighting opportunities
and challenges. It emphasizes the transformative potential of the BRI in strengthening economic
