DEFICIENCIES IN THE DOCTORAL RESEARCH FIELD OF ECONOMIC SCIENCES

Abstract

Writing and defending a dissertation in economic sciences gives rise to a number of problems, which are permanently recognized as deficiencies. The aim of the present study is to rationalize fundamental flaws in doctoral works and to try to find solutions to eliminate them. Object of the research are economic sciences, subject – their doctoral research field, and predicate – the deficiencies existing in it. The following approach is adopted: consideration of fundamental issues in the organic technological unity between writing, evaluating and defending a dissertation; second, recognition (nature, status, dislocation in research, etc.) of the hypothetical apparatus as a system-forming factor of dissertation research; and third, looking for inevitable solutions: compulsoriness of preliminary educational and applied testing of the doctoral student’s initial work and carrying out a permanent (current and final) screening.
